This Privacy Policy explains what information BacoNetworks collects when you use our website, game servers and Discord community, how that information is used, and the choices and rights you have. BacoNetworks is a community modded Minecraft network, and we collect as little personal data as possible to run the service.
BacoNetworks (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a modded Minecraft server network and community. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we act as the data controller for the limited personal data described in this policy.
If you have any questions about this policy or your data, you can contact us at
admin@baconetworks.com.
We are built to run on as little personal data as possible. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:
Your Minecraft username and account UUID when you connect to our servers
Your IP address, which is processed automatically when your game client or our Discord linking bot connects you — we do not use it for marketing or profiling
Your Discord username and ID when you use our Discord server or open a support ticket through our Discord bot
Purchase details when you buy from our store, which is operated through Tebex (we never see or store your full payment-card details)
Basic, aggregated website usage data (such as page views and button clicks) if and when we enable Google Analytics

How We Use Your Information
We use the limited information we collect only to operate and improve the service:
To run our game servers and let you connect and play
To link your Minecraft and Discord accounts so ranks and perks apply correctly
To provide support when you contact us through Discord
To keep the network secure, fair and free of cheating or abuse
To fulfil and deliver purchases made through our store
To understand general website usage and improve the site (analytics, once enabled)

Legal Bases for Processing
Under the GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases: our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning game network; the performance of a contract when you make a purchase or use features that require an account; and your consent for optional cookies and analytics, which you can give or withdraw at any time through our cookie banner.
Our website uses a small number of cookies. Essential cookies remember your cookie choices and keep the site working. We also plan to use Google Analytics in a limited way to measure general usage such as page and button activity — this is only enabled with your consent. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies, and we do not sell your data.
For full details, please see our Cookie Policy.

How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data only with the trusted service providers needed to run the network:
Discord — for our community server and support bot
Tebex — our store and payment provider, which handles purchases and billing
Google — for website analytics, once enabled
Our server and website hosting providers
Authorities or third parties where we are legally required to do so
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above — for example, while your account is active, while a purchase is being processed, or as long as needed to keep the network secure. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.
BacoNetworks is operated from the European Union, but some of our service providers (such as Discord, Tebex and Google) may process data outside the EU. Where that happens, those providers operate under recognised safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
If you are in the EU/EEA or another region with similar laws, you have rights over your personal data, including:
The right to access the data we hold about you
The right to have inaccurate data corrected
The right to request deletion of your data
The right to object to or restrict certain processing
The right to withdraw consent for cookies and analytics at any time
Our service is intended for players aged 13 and over, in line with the minimum age for Minecraft and Discord. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes may also be announced in our Discord community.
